OK. This looks promising. 
I downloaded what I thought was something (the tar.gz) and it fails to 
build. "error: unknown field 'dev_attrs' specified in initializer" (a 
google points to messages from last year about a patch needed for 2.6.18)

What *is* that project? I see no general documentation either on the 
linked site or in the tarball. It seems to compose of a ton of linux video 
drivers, each with documentation, but nothing on the overall project, or 
whatever it is...
