The source is the composite outputs from my Comcast Digital Cable decoder box to the composite inputs on the PVR-150. Here's a portion of the IVTV settings described in my first posting to this thread: ivtv0: Video Input: Composite 1 ivtv0: Audio Input: Line In 1 ivtv0: Tuner: TV ivtv0: Stream: MPEG-2 Program Stream ivtv0: VBI Format: Private packet, IVTV format ivtv0: Video: 720x480, 30 fps ivtv0: Video: MPEG-2, 4x3, Variable Bitrate, 6000000, Peak 8000000 ivtv0: Video: GOP Size 15, 2 B-Frames, GOP Closure ivtv0: Audio: 48 kHz, MPEG-1/2 Layer II, 384 kbps, Stereo, No Emphasis, No CRC The solution I'm using today is to scale the captured video during playback in MythTV. This works alright, but the optimal solution would be to not require scaling at all. I'll try capturing with the coaxial tuner input to see if the results differ. Thanks, Scott Kidder
