I hope thats the same. Attached is my dmesg output (dmesg.txt), which
is:
-the loading of the module,
-tune to 14 (capture not started yet)
-start capture
-tuning to 3,4,5,8,9,11,20,8,41,6, and 8 (all while capture still running)
-stop capture
4) channel 8 seems perfect, 5 is really good (faint crackle every so often)
channels 2-4 aren't too bad, with just an odd bit of light static noise.
channel 9 isnt too bad, channel 10 is really bad, channel 11 is plain
terrible, 12 is bad, 13 isnt too bad, 14 not too bad, 15 not too bad,
16 & 17 both bad,...
some channels in the low twenties are not bad (faint crackle every so often)
higher twenties are pretty bad. thirties are mostly bad, as are 40's..
This is all consistent. Whether im tuning it while watching, or when its
stopped, or after I reload module, or first boot up.
5) Not using composite or svideo. only thing im using is my coax cable, no
line in. Everything works fine on Windows so I dont think its the hardware..
