Hi,
I'm a promoter of JAL & Jallib here in Camagüey Cuba on my range of
action (Amateur Radio community, Hobby electronics and recently on a
airplane RC community) a very few of them (less then 10%) have internet
access, that's a real problem here in Cuba the lack of internet access.
I have "evangelized" in jal & jallib culture about two users now, one
from PBP (Pic basic Pro) an another from PSI (Pic Simulator IDE) and
have other user in the process
I do agree with the idea of a forum/blog/etc where I can discuss a
project, get feedback, improve it, etc.
The best of this is that it will remain there for others to review,
improve take ideas, etc... I will be one of the active contributors of
that alternative... That can be a good place to promote and show jal &
jallib
About new owners, I'm doing my baby steps on python but that's not the
main problem to take a position on the jallib owners relay.
I'm willing to help in that way, but, my internet access here in Cuba is
subordinated to my job and that can change in ANY moment... so the only
sure is the email access.
There is no way to me to have internet at home, it's not LEGALY possible
to do...
And sum to that the embargo/blockade that ban me to any google tools
beside the search engine...
If that change for good in the future, I will no hesitate about taking
any position to helping/maintaining jallib...

I'm in for contributions whenever I can. But I'm awaiting the forum,
where I can post the project/library. Even if is not chosen for Jallib
library inclusion, it will remain there, in the forum, for others to
adopt for usage and/or improvement.
Just do the forum and contributors and jallib maintainers will rise.
Others than the actual users, obvious.
BTW, there is no statistic for Jallib usage. How many continue to use
it, how many migrated to something else (and the reasons), etc. No body
can speak without these data... At least, a forum will give you an
*accurate pulse* about the vitality of this project.
