That is pretty much what I'm doing, except for now I am working from a
binary that I've asked them to send me, rather than doing a build. It is a
tradeoff, but this means much less work for me.
I've already gone a few iterations with Peter's code today. Peter and I
have identified a problem that the interaction with the thread is causing
monotonically increasing pool size. Not isolated or fixed just yet, but
identified. Waiting for Harmeet to send me a version with his code fixed.
