If you use an HTML form with select fields or radio buttons instead of
free-form text, you will simplify your task significantly.
Is there a reason why you need or want to submit the response by e-mail?
Unless they need to complete the form offline, I'd just have the form action
go to a servlet or JSP page. The environment there is instrumented for
picking up the parameters coming from a form.
