I do believe that it is a stable mail server which is why I started thinking maybe there was something in that specific spam mail.

I don't see an exception in the log files, all the processes just stop like the jdk is actually sigfaulting, but I don't see a core or java core file either.

The last time my live server was rebooted was two weeks ago because of a
data center change. Prior to that it was late November. I'll probably
reboot again this weekend when I install a v2.1.1 candidate onto the live
server.
