I fought with RedHat 5.2 and their distribution of Apache for a week. I ended up
uninstalling the RedHat Apache distribution and installing the 1.3.6 from the Apache
site using the Apache docs exactly. My suggestion is to do the same. RedHat puts the
files in a weird place as far as I'm concerned.
