Or, just use the FAQ-O-Matic and choose Apache Jserv 1.0, Installation, Unix, Step by 
Step:DSO Installation.

It worked fine for me, and I know of at least 4 others who have used it EXACTLY like I 
told them in the steps with no problems at all.  EXACTLY means WITH NO CHANGES AT ALL.
