Provided you're not using any JNI you shouldn't have
to play with these.

Always worth a try. Why did you change the defautls

I'm affraid I have to disagree. I've got Apache JServ
running under BT and RedHat 5.1/2 and it hadn't given
me that much of a hassle once I learned a few tricks
(all of them are in the FAQ, IFAIK).
