Shouldn't have needed to. My /usr/local/java is a softlink to the jdk, so when I 
installed 1.2.2 and changed the softlink, JServ should have found it. Anyhow, the kind 
of messages I was getting from JServ didn't suggest it couldn't find JVM. In fact, I 
was getting the SIGSEGV error mentioned earlier in this list.
