Well, you're partially correct... but along the same logic even iPlanet
doesn't use iPlanet.
All three (sun.com, netscape.com, and iplanet.com) use versions of
Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6. But what's known as iPlanet 4.0/4.1 is
actually the 'current' version of NES.
"Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6 SP3 is no longer the current shipping
version, and is therefore no longer being sold... If you are developing a
new application, please click here to download the iPlanet Web Server,
Enterprise Edition 4.0."
Of course... it does make you wonder if those guys have yet to upgrade...
