Wait a second, I own a copy of SuSE 7.1 (yeah, I know...), and there
is definitely a Java SDK (1.2-something I think) somewhere on one of
those disks. I can't say if it's included in the standard installation
(or any of the predefined setups) but it's definitely there and you
can install it when you set up the system.

In fact, that package has caused me quite a bit of grief a while back,
when I had installed JDK 1.3 manually and some script kept "updating"
the symbolic links /usr/lib/java and /usr/bin/java* to point to the
old installation, the JDK 1.2, while I wanted to use the new flashy
one...

        Elias.

PS: On second thoughts, I can't actually tell you for sure that that
was the Sun SDK... But I do think so.
