At the Linux Expo in San Jose, yesterday I experienced Java3D
running on Linux. The GearBox demo runs without pauses on a
333Mhz portable machine. Compered to my 450Mhz PII w/128k
Ram running Win98 where the GearBox demo runs with constant
pauses I have to conclude that, maybe Sun is not only to blame for
bad performance on the WinXX platform.
