Here are some web sites for java bytecode compilers. They convert (or at
least claim they do) the java bytecode, i.e., the .class files, into
platform specific binaries.  I've never used any of these, so don't know
how they perform.  IBM also has what they call a bytecode compiler bundled
into there Visual Age for Java product (the compiler was called the "High
Performance Compiler" - see http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/formula/hpc )
