Well... assuming you have a model of the shoe, you would then need to map
the image to the model. This requires setting the texture coordinates which
map each vertex in your model to pixels in your image. Keep in mind that it
is not possible to map an arbitrary 2D image with its 3d counterpart without
there being very bad stretching artifacts. This is because the 2d picture
is "thrown away" a lot of the 3d information. For example, your picture
cannot show the top of the show and the bottom of the show at the same time,
so right off the bat you will be missing information needed to map an image
to a model of the whole shoe.
