Mike,
    Try the DirectX version too, it's slightly slower but doesn't use the
hardware. I have problems with the OpenGL version on my laptop's ATI Rage card.
I'm told it's the video driver, I've got the latest driver and no other OpenGL
software causes the same problems but Java3D 1.2.1 does. Older versions of Java3D
were fine.

I've switched to DirectX until Sun come out with a new version of the OpenGL 3D
or Dell produce another ATI driver for windows 2000.
