Probably not. If you are using Maya to dump models, you would need to
hand edit the files in some form. Where it would generate an
ImageTexture, change the URL (or maybe set it in the first place) to the
SVG file. Maya, AFAIK, doesn't generate XML X3D output yet, so you would
have to reference it as a straight imagetexture external file. However,
from a modelling perspective, I suppose that Maya would need to still
import the SVG so that you can scale and rotate it on the object.
