Hi all, Im developing an application as my senior project which reads in DEM elevation files and generates a 2D image and a 3D model.
I'm using the J3D.org ElevationGridGenerator and it is fine for the terrains that have values at sea level (example min elevation 0, max elevation 76) but for a file which contains elevations above sea level (example min elevation 1300, max elevation 3500). What i would like to do is be able to set the view (Im using a SimpleUniverse) to always look at the Shape3D that is the terrain. I cant have it hard set because I dont know which file the user might open, i need it to put the view in front of the object no matter where it is. Any and all help is much appreciated, Thanks all, Eryk __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Try FREE Yahoo!
