http://www.geocities.com/Psionic1981 A few questions to anyone... (1) It's sloooow loading. is it just the filesizes? i'm currently streaming the loading process with different threads... is there anything more i can do? (2) Anyone know how i can get a profile of video memory being used by the java3d process? Some way of really knowing how much i'm using in textures, etc. >From: Chris Forrester <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: Discussion list for Java 3D API <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: [JAVA3D] J3D Game Project almost complete/Keyframe 3dsmax... >Date: Thu, 8 Aug 2002 22:16:13 +0000 > >Yeah - Use the OpenGL version of J3D, I don't know about the d3d version, >it's always had that little choppiness to it (looking at it through a >profiler didn't do much, as everything was too slow to get a good picture >of >when the pauses were actually happening).
