I'm planning on adding stripifying logic, but when is the question.  We
are almost upto conformance for the X3D standard.  At that ppoint we
will start digging into performance optimizations.  Stripifying
definately qualifies as a performance improvement.  So I'd imagine we'd
get into this after the Web3D Symposium in March.
