I'm coming across a number of different problems surrounding the Y-UP flag on textures and the rendering not correctly supporting it. Following are the two most glaring issues that I've come across.
Firstly, the util TextureLoader just seems to completely ignore the request. So, putting in my own loading process to correct that, it works fine. Secondly, when creating environment maps, it seems to be ignoring the texture again. If I use the background with the normal texture and then put the same object with the texture on it and set up texture coordinate generation, the reflected image is coming out with the Y axis inverted. I've attached a simple example image for demo.
