Sorry all,

My response was fatuous, which I thought would be apparent by the statement
at the end of the message. I listen to these sorts of arguments on a daily
basis:
    OpenGL vs. DirectX
    Windows vs. Unix
    FreeBSD vs. Linux

I just don't feel that asking this sort of question is going to receive an
unbiased answer on a list devoted to one particular technology. I think a
lot of time and energy is wasted on these little "religious wars" and if
someone wants to find an unbiased answer, they should search for a benchmark
reference rather than solicit opinions from a list of people using only one
of the two sides.
