Sometimes, coloring of the bump map changes (no blue and red). That was related to angle, that is, if i rotated to a certain point, colors changed, and going back set them correctly. I could change them in a predictable manner, just by rotating, and it always appeared exactly at the same angles. In the same manner, zooming showed texture disappearing and appearing, and zoom factor was the same for each event, just as for the angles. 'Seems' to be something different than my problem. In my case, changing the object mapping to decal or blend changed the background node's mapping to the same mode also. As far as i see, you don't change the mapping mode, just add units. Can you modify your program to change the unit's blending mode, so this problem might also appear? I think it may be a key in understanding what's happening.
