Thanks. Unfortunately, the default is the WRAP model. I used the
setBoundary[S,T]() methods to set the mode to CLAMP. This solves my
problem that the texture appears multiple times on the surface but the
left-over texture image is placed in the upper right corner of the
visible part of the sphere. I can`t figure out how to center the texture
on the sphere surface.
