I think it's the X-server. I'm using a 7500 under XFree86 4.3.0 (DRI trunk) and mesa 5.0.2. It was a bit of a hack to get it working. But now nearly everythings fine, all j3d-features working. If you want config-files: send a mail. Only one problem: having an overlay-surface (tv-cart) and an j3d-canvas on 1 screen locks the system after 2-3 min. Even sysrqt doesn't work at all. No other combinations/situations cause problems except overlay+j3d. Anyone knowing something about this problem ?
