It sounds like it is a graphics-card-specific problem here. I use a Radeon
7500 LE and I get the 3D-acceleration working only with XFree86 4.2.0, all
newer versions cause problems. And with J3D 1.3.1 I have problems with
this configuration too.

Up to now all J3D 1.3.1 Linux features works fine
here.
My linux specs:
Linux Kurumin 2.03 (Debbian)
XFree 4.3
Vcard: NVidia GForce Ti 4200
video drivers: Detonator 44.96
2 months ago I was using a GF2 MX400 with Detonator
43.63. It was working fine too.
The lastest NVidia Drivers for Linux are 53.28...

Hi,
does anybody use J3D 1.3.1 for Linux (from
blackdown.org)? I can't see
only one texture which looks like it should here but
I'm not sure if it is
J3D or if it depends on my combination of XFree86
and the graphics card.
