I use JDK 1.5 and J3D 1.3.2 on my Solaris, Linux and Windows systems all
the time - they work perfectly well together, for me at least.
One thing you might need to do. If you install a new JDK or JRE, then
you must re-install J3D into the new Java install. The J3D install
loads DLLs and JARs into the new Java install folders.
