I was seriously scared. My wife just dropped me off in North Sydney (which do those that know Sydney, is most definately NOT a scary place) to visit a friend, and I realised I had no phone. I had my wallet, but the panic I felt was greater then if I had no wallet. I had no identity, no idea where i was going or means to call up who I was seeing.
So I called my wife and made her drive back across the bridge (she was not happy). Thankfully I had memorised her number for just such emergencies.
