Would anyone be bothered if he just categorized it into one of three categories: Open Source, Free (as in Beer), Costs Money.
I care about that sort of thing as well, but whether it is GPL or BSD or Mozilla or CC or whatever - that's such a tiny detail in most cases I'll just take notice of the exact license as I check it out.
