There seems to be a consistency for when it comes to anything having to do with Groovy, SpringSource, and the No Fluff Just Stuff side of the Java community, the Java Posse members evidently live in a cloistered walled garden. They must not get out enough. :-)
(NFJS continues to be huge on Groovy-centric sessions - as based on conference sessions from Fall 2008 time frame. I'll see if I can find the session descriptions to post a link to as it'll illustrate that Groovy by far dominated when it cam to anything thematically pertaining to a scripting language running on the JVM, which there were a lot. There were no sessions specifically on Scala, though, Ted Neward and others referenced it. NFJS tends to have a pragmatic focus for things that working developers could potentially immediately benefit from.) Well, when it comes to these specific Java topic areas, one can sort of imagine hearing the favorite catch phrase of Hogan's Heroes Sergent Schultz, "I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing!" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
