I believe we had this conversation before and, for a while, someone volunteered
and posted a table of contents for each episode (thank you).  He invited the
rest of us to contribute, but that's as far as it went.  Perhaps it's time for
another push at something like this?  Maybe we could have a "chores" list for
volunteers to put their name on each episode and that way it might be a bit
more formal.  But then again, what if someone volunteers, but "life" comes up
and they can't do it in time?  Do they owe a cookie to the Posse cookie fund?
Or a beer to the beer fund?

On the iPod I remember seeing bookmarks where you can skip to the next topic.
The ABC News Video Podcast does this and is very handy. If you are not
interested
in the topic, hit the right side of the circle and you go to the next story.

The Posse is doing this for free. Let's remember that. They are not looking for
more
work. If someone would volunteer to make a short version of the show, or put in
the
bookmarks, and make this process easy on the Posse, they might go for it.
Otherwise,

we should be happy that they are doing anything at all.

I'm hoping the interviews come back. I really want to hear about some topics in
depth.
A weekly newscast is great. If it is sprinkled with interviews, the Roundup
audio, and

conference audio or other travels, all the better.

I love the podcast, long or short.  Perhaps you could release a

separate quick news show if that is what people want.  If you are

limited to the number of releases perhaps you could bookmark the start

of quick news.  I would still listen to it all in its glory!
