I used to be in "the Java Posse are awesome and i would listen to them yammer on all day" camp. However, i have found a lot of other interesting poscasts and i only have so much time to listen to them each day. My vote would be for each episode to be 45 to 50 minutes in length. I believe a lot of the episodes have a fair amount of fluff and could be trimmed.
