I don't have a Facebook account so I can't leave a comment on the facebook group, but if you're looking for -translation- from Visual Basic to Java, there's already an open source project for that -- the code was written by Danny Coward ( http://blogs.sun.com/dannycoward ) a while back.
https://net2java.dev.java.net/ Semplice was something different entirely; it aimed to make Visual Basic yet another VM language so you wouldn't migrate your VB code to Java, you would keep programming in VB and execute on the VM. Releasing it is not going to be easy. There's a whole open source review thing you've gotta go through when you open source stuff - it took a long time for the JDK, and there's a cost to it. Plus in the VB area there might be legal issues as well... -- Tor On Feb 19, 1:33 am, Fernando Cassia <[email protected]> wrote: > Is the current JavaFX push a good opportunity to bring Project > Semplice back to life?
