Oh man I was dreading it all day and now that you opened my eyes that they WILL kill Netbeans I am actually terrified. Netbeans is SO much better than Eclipse and (ahg!) RAD that I am actually terrified. I guess it is good for IntelliJ which would become my IDE. You can argue that Netbeans is open source but I don't think something as complicated as and IDE can thrive without strong backing.
