Well yeah but then again, anyone following various project mailing- lists over the last 2-3 years have seen dozens prominent resources disappear from Sun and Java - personally I felt this all too well with JSR-295 and 296. So no matter how you twist and turn it, people leaving is not a healthy sign and by itself a vote of no confidence - and that started way before Larry's big wallet came into the picture. So zoomed out a little bit, this would not appear to be isolated to uncertainty regarding Snoracle's stewardship.
