One side-effect of the iPhone was that at least some mobile devices now have a decent browser (iPhone, Android, Palm), and I'm sure that Nokia, Blackberry and Microsoft will improve their browser, too. So I can imagine that going forward you build native apps to use the full potential of devices and web apps for less feature-rich, less expensive, non-app-store apps (if "online only" is suitable for your app). So this could mean libraries for cross-phone web development (like http://phonegap.com) and tools like http://www.genuitec.com/mobile becoming popular. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
