Where do I mention Steve Jobs? I simply wanted to highlight a volatile criteria aspect of humanity where some are willing to sacrifice A in order to get B. A more prudent example could be the recent actions by the Mossad, where apparently "the greater good" as defined by Israel legitimates state sponsored torture and murder on foreign soil: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/israel/7254807/Mossads-licence-to-kill.html
If I ask my Israeli friend, he will say "That's ok, he's is responsible for many of my dead countrymen". If I ask his wife, she will say "It's a slippery slope when you make up your own playing rules and isolate yourself from your surroundings". People see things differently depending on their criteria, hence this Apple discussion.
