Oh no, this evil scheme already exists! It's called "cable company" or "satellite company", you have to pay 50 bucks ransom every month, and they dictate which TV channels you can watch! The outrage! And then there are these "newspaper companies" that dictate which news you get, and these "radio companies" which tell you what you should hear, and these "book companies" tell you what you should read!
