This is not a debate about technology. It is about the market and being able to build a business around it. I don't see how you can know deal with that kind of uncertainty. The options are limited and they keep tightening the noose. At some point developers are going to give up because the risk is too high for the potential reward.
Best of luck with your new program and if you make an Android version, please tell us about it. -- I think it is right if apple is doing something to protect itself from protection. Business these days includes blocking someone from hurting your interests. Either you are with us or against us. As a budding scientist,it does make me feel uncomfortable with this trend of business.But hey, this is a new era of capitalization. I still don't see how this blocks you from doing long-term business on Apple's platform.They are implementing a long-term strategy and surely such changes can be expected from other vendors as well.. I am all for open-source for avoiding monopolies(and clashes) and it seems we might need such movements in future too.
