I suppose that's the fallback option - I use VMWare, so I could just run Linux in unity mode and still have access to an up-to-date version of Java and the tools that go with it. Given that Eclipse Helios on Mac STILL has issues with CTRL-Space not working about half the time this might even prove to be a bonus!
