Of course, narrow-minded guys who think that there's only the web have this opinion :-) In the industry, we're enjoying full fledged desktop applications, we're doing fun things that JavaScript or Flex can only dream about, and we'll be doing the same for the foreseeable future. Sure, we're not cool, we're not the hottest topic at conferences, but we don't mind.
