Phil, I'm not saying it's common, but it has happened[1] - unless I've forgotten *my* tablets and my memory is deceving me. My point was that subtitling different accents of the same language fills a need, and it's not necessarily something that we should get offended or annoyed about. There's also a great example where it might have been a good idea to subtitle a broad accent[2].
So no, not baiting, nor trolling, or whatever, just taking part in an increasingly off-topic discussion.
