Well, the Oracle buy out put the whole thing in the air for a year and
then there was the dropping of JavaFXScript, which was probably
another year.

But 2.0 is a 2.0 product, even the EA builds worked pretty well and
were more functional than JavaFX 1.0 - 1.3.

Its still only a small team to my understanding.
