Funny how that argument works the other way around. But if someone mentions that those languages are years apart from production use, I know who is the first to cry "foul". :-) I think there is nothing wrong with comparing languages (especially if they began with it). You can't really claim it is other people's fault that they are ten years late to the party. Your constant negativity toward anything that might compete with Scala is > quite puzzling.
