Hi I did a merge from JAWS 7.0 to 8. All my settings didn't get changed, however.
One big thing I've noticed is that all my dictionary manager settings didn't move to JAWS 8 in MS Outlook 2003. Maybe not in some other areas as well, but I've only used JAWS 8 a little so far since I can't stand it. Isn't the dictionary manager settings in a JDF file? I've moved all the Microsoft outlook files in my ENU folder manually, the JCF, JDF, and any others, and the dictionary manager settings still didn't get moved, or or just not working. Any thoughts? I have a feeling that a lot of JAWS's buggy behavior will be getting discussed on this list for the coming months from JAWS users. Sigh.
