Hi: Yes, you can delete the extra executables that are on your desktop. It doesn't really make a difference whether you run or save. If you run the program, the installer file doesn't download to your hard drive. IF you save it, the installer does download to a location which you specify, and then you have to navigate to the location where you saved it and press Enter on that file in order for the program to run. It really makes no difference whether you hit run or save, it's all personal preference, at least in my view.
