goldwave supports ogg format. Maybe your files are not OK. When you open 
that ogg files in goldwave you can directly convert them into mp3, Just 
press alt+f and then choose save as and you can save the opened file in 
the format you wish. but I cannot understand why you insist on mp3 when 
ogg is much better format.
