This is purchased software with a trial version.  Doing a Google search
reveals that  utilities like this are still being marketed. I imagine the
companies selling the products will have made a legal investigation.
Certainly using this software to crack passwords to distribute illicit
copies should not be countenanced but the issue here is about a  user
getting legitimate access.

I suspect that Adobe is actually in breach of anti discrimination law,
certainly in the UK and probably in the USA by making such impediment to
appropriate access. Not everybody has Jaws and using utilities like Text
Aloud is I  think entirely understandable given the low cost.
