Hi Vicki, If the document is copy protected, that is only to prevent changes to the content, and shouldn't affect the ability to read it. The problem may lie with the application you are useing to read it. Try this: Open the document in the Adobe reader, and see if it will work. if so, then choose save as text from the file menu, and see what happens. If Adobe fails for you, you might want to tryone of the converters on the list's website, on the programs page. Keep us up to date. HTH, Richard Q.
